About Western books

By opening Western books you get a fantastic opportunity to feel in your ears the dashing whistle of the wind, distant shooting and the clatter of hooves. The genre manages to incorporate elements of comedy, detective, action, and thriller. Western is distinguished by brave and unceremonious heroes, dangerous adventures and the laws of the Wild West. The action mostly takes place in Mexico, the States, and Canada. These books are read avidly not only in adolescence but whenever you want to diversify your life with adventures. Authors James Cooper, Max Brand, Mine Reed, Karl May, Jiri Brdechka and others stood out in this direction.

History of the western genre

Though the events in the best western books took place more than a hundred years ago, the literature of this genre itself is a new trend. If you want to take a break from everyday life, read books in the Western genre to escape from problems, transfer your fantasy to the expanses of the southern deserts and find yourself in hopeless situations along with the heroes of the plot.
Many Western books serve as screenplays for films of the genre. It is no coincidence that such literary works are relevant in our time. The Western plot is built in such a way that the main characters find themselves in hopeless situations associated with mortal danger.
